Emergency First Aid (EVENT FULL)
This is a one day course for participants to develop the skills necessary to provide emergency first aid to someone who has an accident or suddenly becomes ill at work. Participants will be trained and assessed during the course in order to receive a certificate. Please note - you will be required to complete 3 practical assessments and a multiple choice test. You need to bring Photo ID eg passport, driving licence. If these are not available please bring your Work ID with photo If you require assistance with reading/writing please let the use know prior to the start of the course.
This is a mandatory training session for all Council Budget Holders.
Following a recent CIPFA review, a recommendation was made that all budget holders attend Finance training to recap the Council financial budget processes. Training has been split into a number of 3-hour modules:
Module 1 - Process Overviews, Roles & Responsibilities Module 2 - System and Template Training Module 3 - Departmental specific training including Capital Processes (Dates TBC)
Module 1 will cover the following:
Introduction to Council Finances Local Government Funding Budget Cycle process, including Budget Setting, Budget Monitoring and Year End Roles & Responsibilities of Budget Holders and Finance Teams including Budget Cycle, spend approval and purchase cards and contract standing orders
