South Gloucestershire Council Employees & Councillors - For most of our training courses, council departments are not charged for the places they take because the costs are accounted for within relevant Council training budgets. However, some courses will require a department cost code to cover all or part of a place on that course. Any charges will be included within the course details.
Social Care Providers, Independent & Voluntary Partner Agencies - The standard per person training day charge is £95 per day or £47.50 per half day (From April 2023 £103.50 full day or £49 half day) , significant discounts can be achieved by pre-purchasing a bundle of training days.

South Gloucestershire Children's Partnership (SGCP) and Safeguarding Adults Board (SGSAB) - If you work for an agency which contributes financially to these Partnerships there is no charge to attend, but your organisation will be charged a £60 per day penalty fee for a late-cancellation (within 5 working days of the course) or a "No-show" on the day. Please check cancellations policy for details. However, significant discounts can be achieved by pre-purchasing a bundle of training days.

The council’s Management Programme course is exempt from these charging rules and costs £190 for South Glos employees to attend the 6 days of training in the programme. For external delegates the cost is £725.
The charge for the Women in Leadership programme for external delegates is £362.

Town and Parish Councils within South Gloucestershire - £95 per day or £47.50 per half day. (From April 2023 £103.50 full day or £49 half day)
Other Local Authorities and Town & Parish Councils outside of South Gloucestershire - £190per day/£95 per half-day per person (from April 2023 £207 per day / £103.50 half day)
E-learning packages - any of the council's partner agencies can access the council's range of e-modules. Our standard charge for accessing e-modules is £19 (£20 from April 2023) per module.
It is more cost-effective when access is included as part of a discounted bundle as set out above (e.g. adult social care IVP agencies, or SGCP).
For SGCP led e-modules any charges made are to cover the costs of administering the process.
