This one day training course is organised by South Gloucestershire Safeguarding Children Board Training Group and is targeted at employees working directly with children who have completed °single° agency Child Protection i.e. e-learning CP and is facilitated by a South Gloucestershire Multi-agency Safeguarding Board Trainer. This course aims to give staff an opportunity to explore within a face to face, multi-agency environment, various aspects of child protection in order to enhance knowledge and awareness of the issues and the ability to respond appropriately to them. This course will also cover basic processes and procedures for making a referral to Children°s Social Care. Those that have frontline responsibility or are the designated safeguarding lead in their establishment should also undertake Advanced Inter-Agency Child Protection training. Please complete the Child Protection Awareness and Neglect E Learning before attending this training.
