This course is open only to line managers working for South Gloucestershire Council. Managers are expected to manage the performance of individuals in their team and this isn't always an easy task. This course covers good management practice in a setting where managers are encouraged to learn from each other's experiences and are able to get HR advice on current issues. The standard charge for this course is £70 per day. Please refer to our Course Charges on the Home page for information on discounts and exemptions.

A one day interactive workshop which builds on the mandatory Recruitment & Selection e-module (Search Events/Online learning), which must be completed before attending this course. The workshop is intended for South Gloucestershire Council employees who are currently recruiting and enables them to design and practice all stages of their recruitment process.
