Compulsory adult Safeguarding training for all South Gloucestershire Breakthrough Mentors.
The half-day Raising Safeguarding Concerns course is essential training for all front-line staff and managers who are involved in providing services to adults at risk and who work directly with service users.
The course will cover how to recognise Safeguarding concerns, local policies and procedures, and how to raise Safeguarding concerns.
This one-day interactive training course provides excellent foundation knowledge and awareness of how to manage contracts with external providers successfully in order to extract better value-for-money and deliver the desired commercial outcomes. Competence in this area is equally about how to manage intelligently, knowing when to consult with professional colleagues especially when undertaking complex processes such as contractual change, recognising the key drivers that will improve supplier performance and understanding the role and importance of robust contract governance.
The course is ideal for individuals who have accountability for managing third party service providers within the council (including budget holders, contract managers, relationship managers, service delivery managers and procurement practitioners), as well as those that are relatively new to the procurement function.
Please note there is £100 recharge for South Glos employees to attend this course.
This course is appropriate for all practitioners working in early years who have previously attended “Using Attention Bucket Activities to Support Children in your Setting” training and run Attention Bucket activities in your setting.
This course will provide an opportunity to network with practitioners from other settings, to share attention bucket ideas.
It will provide an increased knowledge of activities when using bucket activities in your setting to extend children’s listening and attention skills.
There will be lots of practical demonstrations of activities you will experience which will inform and enhance your practice, and have ideas to take back and use at your setting.
PLEASE NOTE: You will need to have attended ‘Using Attention Bucket Activities to Support Children in your Setting’ in order to attend this course.
