This free course has been developed by the Royal Society of Public Health and aimsto increase the confidence and skills of frontline staff to be effective in having conversations about mental health and wellbeing. It draws on CBT skills and the 5 Ways to Wellbeing in order to help people manage emotional distress and increase their resilience and mental wellbeing through positive changes. It is an incremental three-session programme – Session 1 is a half day, Sessions 2 and 3 are full days.

This half-day workshop aims to raise awareness and knowledge of the causes and impact of dementia on individuals, and to highlight ways in which staff can work positively and effectively with older people who are living with dementia.

This 1-day workshop will help delegates to understand and be accountable for the key factors in managing and preventing organisational abuse in the services they lead and/or review. This 2-hour webinar aims to increase children's services practitioners' understanding around self-harm/injury and suicide.

The session will be run in Microsoft Teams and be led by children's services managers.

All council Integrated Children's Services staff are expected to attend the session.
