This free course has been developed by the Royal Society of Public Health and aimsto increase the confidence and skills of frontline staff to be effective in having conversations about mental health and wellbeing. It draws on CBT skills and the 5 Ways to Wellbeing in order to help people manage emotional distress and increase their resilience and mental wellbeing through positive changes. This half-day workshop aims to raise awareness and knowledge of the causes and impact of dementia on individuals, and to highlight ways in which staff can work positively and effectively with older people who are living with dementia.

YOU WILL NEED TO ATTEND A RAISING SAFEGUARDING CONCERNS COURSE BEFORE ATTENDING THIS TRAINING. Managers of agencies that provide services for adults at risk must ensure they lead a "safe service", with competent staff and an organisational culture that safeguards adults. This 1-day workshop will help delegates to understand and be accountable for the key factors in managing and preventing organisational abuse in the services they lead and/or review. This 2-hour webinar aims to increase children's services practitioners' understanding around self-harm/injury and suicide.
