Code: SGC/21/0418 Police Q and A session (EVENT FULL)

Following on from the feedback from teams about how we can improve multi agency working with the police, and what you would like to know more about in terms of how the police operate; Kristina Windsor is going to come and provide an overview on the following:

· Operation Ruby

· The police working structure

· Comms priorities-i.e 999 responses and how these are prioritised

· What happens when a job is filed

· When and why intel can and can’t get shared

There will then be a chance for people to ask any questions they may have on the day.

The hope is that this session will lead to future joint training between social care and the police and more opportunities to learn from each other as agencies.

This is aimed at all professionals and carers who come into contact with young people and families, including managers who have responsibility for supervision, policy and decision-making.
