PLEASE READ
Acorn have continued to review their risk assessments throughout the pandemic- this can be accessed by visiting their website: Acorn Health and Safety (acornsafety.co.uk) or by clicking here updated risk assessment.
Please can you read through the updated risk assessment and read the attached self-declaration form prior to your attendance at the First Aid Training Course. You will be asked to complete this on arrival at the training venue. If you have any covid symptoms do not attend the course.
All participants attending these courses will be required to bring a paper disposable 3 ply face mask - fabric masks / scarves will not be acceptable. This mask will be mandatory to wear for all practical elements of the training.
Finally, in line with the government’s recommendation that all adults should be doing two lateral flow tests a week, we would ask that you do one of these, prior to your attendance at this course. This is not only reassuring for yourself but also for others attending the course. By doing this we are doing all that we can to stop the spread of this virus. Acorns Trainers and Office Staff are also all doing these tests twice weekly.
If you have any questions you would like to discuss with the trainer, Acorn are happy to take phone calls on 0117 958 2070 option 1, prior to the course.
At the time of putting this together (July 2021) I also enquired as to whether there had been any known incidents of Covid 19 having been passed on through their courses, and was told that they were not aware of any incidents. Delegates and trainers alike had taken a very responsible approach to cancelling their places if there was any chance that they could be positive.
Tea and coffee will be available, but please note that lunch is not included.
