This session will help you to create powerful and efficient spreadsheets, and introduce you to formulas, otherwise known as functions.

Who Should Attend? Users who are familiar with using Excel e.g. data entry, but would like to know how to setup SpreadSheets from scratch.

One Note is a digital notebook where you can store all your documents for a project - notes, emails, documents and share them with colleagues.  This introductory session will introduce One Note to you and show you the basics to set up a One Note notebook.

The standard charge for this session is £16.

Many people use Outlook every day, but use a fraction of its functionality. Outlook should help you organise and prioritise your working life, as well as communicate effectively with people. You will need to be proficient using a keyboard and mouse to attend this session

This session will demystify formatting so that you can take control of the presentation of documents and create professional documents quickly as well as fix badly formatted documents.

Who Should Attend? Users who feel they only scratch the surface of Word and would like to learn the tools available to create professional looking documents.

This award (formerly the Basic Food Hygiene certificate) is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH). All food handlers are required by law to receive appropriate food hygiene training. This is relevant for anyone in contact with food preparation and service, such as Catering Staff, Care/Support staff (adult social care/housing-related services), Teaching staff, Lunchtime Supervisors, Classroom Assistants and Students. For participants from a variety of settings and backgrounds to gain a basic awareness of mental health which they can draw upon in their day-to-day work and is aimed at any managers or staff in any sector who work with adults or children and would like to know more about Mental Health. This one day course will place emphasis on the social aspects of mental health including the stigma of mental ill health and some of the equal opportunities issues within the field. The perspectives of people who experience mental health problems will be central to the day. This course is currently free to everyone.
