Introduction to Rowing for Fostered Children.
Who: Youngsters between the ages of 12 and 18 referred through the South Gloucester Fostering Team. A maximum of 6 places available for each session. Youngsters must be accompanied by a carer.
What: A 4-week introduction to the sport of rowing, on and off the water. Learn balance and fitness skills! Each 1-hour long session is coached by experienced rowers and all equipment is provided. Just bring basic sports type clothing (weather appropriate) and an enthusiasm to listen and learn.
When: Sessions are on Monday evenings at 6:30pm and are: • April 22nd • April 29th • May 6th (Bank Holiday) • May 13th Important: please arrive no less than 15 minutes before each session is due to start.
