Event description
This informative day covers key themes relating to your service delivery and reputation. We introduce you to tools which enable simple strategic analysis. These tools will help you examine the different levels of power and interest people have to influence and shape your service and the value your team creates for the council, communities and customers. We consider the benefits of partnership working and using networks to enhance the work of the council and the value that comes from working with people.

We will use change theory to bring to life and make sense of how people respond to change and what they need from you as a manager. You will explore what happens psychologically when people experience or resist change so that you can adapt, pace change and provide support. We will then consider how your team can make the most effective use of resources available to enhance your service and value for money. This day offers simple tools, techniques and models to manage change well and provide the best customer service possible.

This day is supported with online material that will give participants additional content to focus on their main priorities in their service areas and well as content to return to at a later date.
