The Early Years team are creating an opportunity for setting practitioners, childminders and reception teaching staff, of all levels and experiences to come together and reflect upon Equality, Diversity and Inclusion within the early years.
We are asking that all practitioners are made aware of this opportunity so those with a keen interest in this field are able to attend and contribute. So please exercise your power of inclusivity and ask each staff member if they would like to be a part of this.

Learning outcomes
This will be an open forum for reflective discussion, so an expectation of contribution is required. The SSO’s will facilitate and provide a comfortable, albeit virtual space, to share and reflect upon aspects such as; unconscious bias, tokenism in the absence of diversity, challenging racial incidents and talking about race in our settings. We would of course also welcome ideas and thoughts from all who participate.
