CS4 - Equality and Diversity
Event description
This course has been put together and will be delivered by Aimee Williams, Interim Improvement Service Manager and was previously delivered under the name, Equality and Diversity - So What?

Having reflected back on the course the title has been changed to reflect the content more accurately.

It is an interactive course with learning from case studies, video clips and group work.

Learning outcomes

 *  Consider what diversity/identity is and look at this from our own personal perspectives as well as the perspective of a child in need or a child in care.
* Consider Adverse childhood experiences (ACES)-what impact may these have and how should they be part of any planning and support?
* Look at why, how and where we evidence diversity in practice.
* Look at some of the ‘do’s and don’ts’ in relation to evidencing diversity.
