Learning outcomes
The aim of the session will enable you and your team to:
· Be aware of and recognise symptoms of COVID-19 in your setting
· Ensure you are following best practice to reduce the risk of infection
· Understand more about risk to have more detailed and informed conversations with people.
· Know how to support vulnerable people locally and where to go for help
· Be aware of the NHS Test and Trace service and the important role it plays
· Understand what to do in the event of a suspected or confirmed case
Understand latest developments in testing and vaccination
· Better understand terminology such as ‘case’ and ‘outbreak’
· see the local picture in South Gloucestershire
· Feel more confident to move forward with local and national support
