Event description
A 2-day course to learn the evidence-based way to support clients to stop smoking. This course is aimed at GP and pharmacy staff working within South Gloucestershire. We will accept applicants from other settings on a case by case basis. Please email smokefree@southglos.gov.uk if you would like to discuss setting up a service in on your site.
Learning outcomes
Applicants will be trained to provide the full level two smoking cessation intervention, offering a combination of stop smoking medications and behavioural support.
