Event description
A one day course in which Chris Croft will explain everything you need to know in order to plan and deliver successful projects. There are also some practical exercises and a short excel demo from Chris. The course will be fun as well as inspirational, and by the end you’ll feel keen to try out the methods on your real projects back at work, because from now on you’ll have control of your projects – you’ll have less stress and better results. Nobody can love Gantt charts as much as Chris, but you will probably quite like them by the end of the course.
Learning outcomes
Understand how to plan and deliver projects, on time and on budget. Become enthusiastic about using Gantt charts because they are great. Discover that you need a network diagram before you can make a Gantt chart. Know what to look for in a project plan. Learn about resource planning, for one or multiple projects. Understand estimating and contingency. Discover that financial reporting means nothing without a Gantt chart. Learn about the options for rescheduling. Realise the importance of reviewing. Develop a belief that planning projects is quick ad easy and worth doing.
