This 1-day workshop run by Research in Practice is specifically for: South Gloucestershire Council Children Services Managers, and Social Workers.

Content includes: * Analysis: key to outcome planning * Critiquing analysis and hypothesis * Outcome planning: SMART and directly related, restorative, self as a resource, increasing meaningful impact * Impact on child, parent, carer, social worker, manager (group work) * Measuring: Qualitatively (indicators/research/observations) and Quantitatively (data and timescales)
Learning outcomes
To improve & make consistent children & families outcome based planning, by exploring & understanding the following:
› the difference between outcomes & outputs
› transparent, proportionate, ‘SMART’ actions for outcomes
› baselining & measuring qualitative & quantitative outcomes
› ways of working with complex families (as a direct resource)
› having pace related to child development
