This two and a half-day course is aimed at practitioners who would like to start their outdoor journey, building knowledge and confidence.

None, however DBS and suitable first aid qualification is advised.
This course is aimed at practitioners who would like to start their outdoor journey, building knowledge and confidence. We will look at different types of play and learning to support child development. We will introduce basic woodland skills, using tools, identifying risks, hazards and benefits to help you to start developing your own practice in the natural environment. This is a QCF accredited course through Cambium. You will have a work book to hand in, in order to complete the course.
Please bring a packed lunch as lunches will not be provided.
