Event description
This course is for practitioners who are new to outdoor play and learning and those wishing to develop their understanding of why and how we can incorporate maths and literacy into outdoor play.
Children often learn best outdoors as it suits and supports their learning style and motivation. Their fascinations with sticks, stones and other natural resources are a perfect tool and environment to enable children to express their knowledge, ideas and curiosity with a subject that is often only thought about inside using numbers and pencils.
Come with an open mind for hands-on learning.
We will be outside whatever the weather so please bring waterproofs, stout shoes and warm clothes.
