This remote recruitment webinar is aimed at South Glos Council managers with previous recruitment experience. Managers new to this area of work should contact the Recruitment Team direct for support.
As the recruiting manager you’re at the centre of the process, driving the process to recruit the best person to meet your job needs. You have the insight and knowledge of how the role fits into the overall team, and what is needed to effectively perform this. This webinar will give you an understanding of good the skills required in remote recruitment and selection. It will include advert writing, candidate attraction, using CVs in selection and the council’s new recruitment system. You’ll have the opportunity to discuss how remote recruitment differs from face to face recruitment in terms of shortlisting and interviewing and gain advice on your own recruitment practices. We will also cover unconscious bias and how to promote equality within recruitment.
Please note; There is important pre-course work with activities to work through before you attend this webinar, this should take approximately 90 minute.
