This webinar is for managers who are managing remotely. For many of us the workplace has totally transformed with anyone who can working at home and having to adjust to remote working as both a short and long term reality. You may have been using technology to support remote working for a long time but it may be a new prospect for managers to lead teams who are now largely or fully working remotely. In this session we will focus on: the key principles of remote working, the challenges, benefits, and leadership traits of a remote manager, how to support individuals who are feeling a sense of isolation, and how to best use the technology available so that you can make remote working a success.

This interactive and engaging webinar will be facilitated by Deb Parsons and Emma Ford and you will get many of the benefits of attending a face to face session.

Once you have requested a place on this webinar, you will be sent a skype appointment with further information.

Code: SGC/20/0971 Wellbeing Coaching - South Glos staff only (Emma Ford)

These 50 minute coaching sessions with coaches will assist council staff in coming up with strategies and action plans to maintain and build their wellbeing and resilience. Unlike counselling which provides a safe space to explore worries and concerns, these confidential coaching sessions will help staff come up with individual plans to help them build their resilience, understand what they can do to enhance their wellbeing and overcome current and future obstacles. There are activities and exercises that wellbeing coaches can also give people to work through in their own time if they would find it useful.

Please note these sessions will be delivered by skype or telephone.  Your coach will contact you to confirm the best method for you.
