This course is open only to line managers working for South Gloucestershire Council. Managers are expected to manage the performance of individuals in their team and this isn't always an easy task. This course covers good management practice in a setting where managers are encouraged to learn from each other's experiences and are able to get HR advice on current issues. Members Appointment Panel Training
This training has been arranged for those who are sitting on the Member Appointment panel, but we would like to open it up to members who would find this subject interesting.
We are offering Recruitment and Selection training, this will cover off a background on our attraction and selection methods, training on shortlisting and interviewing including unconscious bias and values based recruitment.
This will be delivered by Laura Scott, our HR Recruitment Team Leader.
