There will be an opportunity to practice a postural assessment and therefore you may like to bring a pillow and a mat.
We would advise against wearing a skirt as this will limit participation.
You will also be expected to complete an assessment between the two training dates and therefore, it would be helpful to have this planned inThis is a one and half day course focusing on:
- To refresh basic anatomy and biomechanics related to posture
- To identify the secondary complications resulting from poor posture
- To provide a structure for “hands on” assessment of posture
- To provide opportunity to assess the posture of a peer
- To provide a framework for postural analysis and management
- Equipment selection. What you need to consider and why.
- Review of armchair seating
- Review of shower chairs
