Event description

This training session is suitable for all practitioners working in Children’s Services. Please attend if you are new to South Gloucestershire Council or if you would like to refresh your knowledge around our response to missing children and child exploitation in South Gloucestershire.
Learning outcomes

• You will have a good understanding of the processes and practices relating to children reported missing including the requirement for Return Home Interviews once the child is found.

• You will understand the meaning of the term ‘extra-familial harm’.

• You will be aware of the different types of exploitation.

• You will have an understanding of South Gloucestershire’s Risk Management Pathway.
