An introduction to children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing covering four main topics:
Mental Health Awareness – What is mental health? What are the specific challenges for children and young people
Resilience and Self-Care – Develop resilience strategies and tools for yourself and the children and young people you are working with
Local Mental Health Provision – Explaining the iThrive model used to structure mental health service provision and update on local services
Drug and Alcohol and how they Impact Mental Health – What type of substances young people might use and the reasons behind this and how drugs and alcohol impact mental health.
