Event description
Please note this session is for Community Group Volunteers only, if you work in a Social Care organisation or charity, please book on Raising Safeguarding Concerns training.

The multi-agency South Gloucestershire Safeguarding Adult Board oversees the Joint Policy & Procedures for Safeguarding Adults in this area. It is essential that a wide range of individuals that support adults at risk are aware of key issues of Safeguarding Adults.

This bitesize session will introduce volunteers that support community groups within South Gloucestershire to identify what safeguarding adults is, how to recognise an adult at risk and what to do if abuse is disclosed or suspected.

This session can also be delivered ‘in house’ to your group either virtually via Zoom or Face to Face as Covid restrictions allow. For more information about this or help with booking please email hrlearninganddevelopment@southglos.gov.uk
