Their influence can be seen in a range of arenas from sporting success to vital institutions that include the NHS and London Transport. However their legacy and that of many migrant communities can be traced across centuries and circles the globe. Author, academic and activist Roger Griffith gives a personal insight on the history of the Windrush Generation and their enduring legacy today.
