Event description
Event for managers

Managing menopause in the workplace is no different to managing any other health or welfare issue so why can feel it so awkward and embarrassing to have that menopause conversation?

Join Sarah Davies from Talking Menopause to gain awareness of menopause, what it is, who is affected and what you can do to help .

Learn about the impact in the workplace and how you can support members of your teams. You will leave this session feeling confident to have that menopause conversation.

Talking Menopause will be hosting this webinar, which is open to all managers. You’ll be given the opportunity to ask questions and to think about how you have menopause conversations with staff. Please encourage other colleagues to attend.

Learning outcomes
The webinar will cover the following areas:

Menopause is often not seen as something that needs to be managed at work more seen as a private matter. This workshop seeks to address that view focusing on the manager’s role, how employee legislation should impact on their decision making as well as providing practical tools and solutions.

Topics include: - advice on Reasonable Adjustments - being an inclusive manager through leadership and creating the right menopause culture - how to have that menopause conversation.

We are aware that if we encourage women to be open about their menopause it is important that they are supported and get the right response from their managers.
