Event description
This 2-hour webinar aims to increase children's services practitioners' understanding around self-harm/injury and suicide.

The session will be run in Microsoft Teams and be led by children's services managers.

All council Integrated Children's Services staff are expected to attend the session. 


Webinar timings: 9.00am – 11.00am, including time for questions and answers

Learning outcomes
LEARNING OBJECTIVES

1. To be able to understand and consider the link between self-harm/injury and suicide

2. To understand the risk and protective factors for young people utilising self-injury

3. To feel equipped to have conversations with young people around those factors and consolidate these into an informed assessment

4. To be able to express the assessed level of risk to those in the young person's network including other professionals
