A 3 hour workshop for people working in schools and Universal Children’s Services working with 5-11 year olds on recognising and helping children with anxiety. Looks at what is anxiety and an understanding of anxiety. The different types of anxiety. How children are affected by anxious parents?

Learning outcomes
· To understand anxiety and the different types of anxiety.
· To use tools and strategies to explain anxiety and help children understand, manage and challenge their anxiety.
· To understand the effect of parents anxiety on their children.
· To share resources for 5-11 year olds with anxiety.
