Event description

This is a 3 hour workshop to explore direct work skills that can be used when working with young people.

The focus of these sessions will be to help children understand their life story and promote their identity and attachments.

The workshop will be facilitated by Rhian Phillips and Sophie Hitch who will use principles from Richard Rose’s Therapeutic Life Story Work Diploma.

Learning outcomes

The workshop enables participants to learn, share and practice direct work skills in a small group.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a family situation that they are working with which we will explore together and develop strategies that can be used to help the young person and their carers.
