Event description
This course is appropriate for all practitioners working in early years.

This course will include a brief insight into working with and supporting children with social communication difficulties or ASC. It will explore how a different and well known approach can support children in gaining attention skills to support development of children’s spontaneous language and to follow rules and boundaries in a group activity. This approach is also appropriate for children who are experiencing a general delay in their language development.

It will provide an introduction to using bucket activities in your setting, and look at the foundations of listening and attention skills.

There will be lots of practical demonstrations of activities you can experience which will inform your practice, and you will have ideas to take back and use.
