Event description
Butterflies and Bees is usually a ten week group for carers and parents to develop in their abilities to therapeutically and reflectively support the children in their care. Thinking Aloud will be running a two-day condensed version of the course, available to all staff: FPT, LAC, Locality Team social workers, IRO's, Breakthrough mentors, to help you discover some of the techniques, strategies and theories we are sharing with carers. We will cover in depth the impact of trauma and disrupted attachment on children’s development and mental health. There will also be lots of space to try techniques out and play some games to embed our understanding.”
