Corporate Parenting is a collective responsibility of the Council, with Councillors having a distinct role to play in ensuring that the outcomes and life chances of young people under the care of local authorities are maximised.

This session will ensure all Councillors receive accurate information to be able to find out about the basic issues faced by such children in their area.

Learning outcomes
It will explore how Councillors can undertake this role effectively be clear about what standards of service should be expected asking themselves ‘good enough for my child?’
