We would like to invite you to a choice of 2 training sessions with the highly experienced Bethan Evans who has been a qualified solicitor within local government for 35 years. You can choose between the afternoon session 2-4pm, or if you prefer 7-9pm, both are to be held at the Civic Centre, Kingswood.

Learning outcomes
Purpose of the session:

1. To understand the standards of behaviour required of councillors and to explore the arrangements for dealing with breaches of standards;
2. To outline the components of good governance and to understand robust decision making by local authorities;
3. To ensure that (1) new councillors can start fulfilling their roles immediately and (2) returning councillors are refreshed and updated on key provisions.
