Event description
This course is aimed at SENCOs and Childminders who wish to gain further knowledge of this important aspect of supporting children with SEND or more experienced SENCOs who wish to refresh their knowledge.

“Early years providers must guide the development of children’s capabilities with a view to ensuring that children in their care complete the EYFS ready to benefit fully from the opportunities ahead of them.”
(EYFS Statutory Framework, page 29)

For children who have SEND it is important their next steps are developmentally appropriate targets which specifically address their individual needs.

This course will also explore how outcomes can be measured in order to further support the child’s learning and assessment.
