This training will look at what we mean by safer caring and how to promote safe practices for those caring for children in their homes.
Learning outcomes
This course will enable you : To understand the concepts of hazards, risks and vulnerability To recognize the hazards associated with caring for traumatised children and young people To think about how to assess risks to the child, the carers and the agency To think about how to manage these risks and reduce vulnerability To consider safer caring within your own household TSDS: TSDS 3.1, 3.2, 3.4, 3.5 6.1, 6.2, 6.3,6.4, 6.5
