YOU WILL NEED TO ATTEND SAFEGUARDING ADULTS ALERTER BEFORE YOU ATTEND THIS SESSION. This 1-day course will assist managers/supervisors, other practitioners and Social Workers/Care Managers to be clear about THEIR role: how to conduct an interview, and how to make decisions about what to do next. Covered the  information-gathering  aspects of Safeguarding Adults cases, looking at what should happen prior to the invoking of the Safeguarding Adults Policy.
Looked at how to conduct an interview and how to make decisions about what to do next.
More detailed guidance on ways to deal with an  alert  in this context, specifically focusing on issues of evidence preservation and contamination.
Clarity about inter-agency responsibilities in this key area of their work.
