Event description
This training is aimed at practitioners who are new to outdoor play and learning and those wishing to develop their understanding of why and how mud cooking is beneficial for children’s development. During this training we will be helping to develop confidence in practitioners who work with children, to handle possible messy materials. We will consider the benefits of these experiences and complete a risk assessment which you can take back to your setting. This course is for those who like to get their hands dirty and for those who may feel challenged but are open to getting their hands dirty. You will share ideas and skills along with a bank of ideas to use in your setting. We expect you to think like a three year old, so come prepared to play! We will be outside whatever the weather so come prepared with waterproofs, stout footwear and warm clothes.
