Event description
This course is aimed at Committee Chairs and managers to help you with the whole process from recruitment to induction. “Providers must ensure that all staff receive induction training to help them understand their roles and responsibilities. Induction training must include: information about emergency evacuation procedures, safeguarding, child protection, the provider’s equality policy, and health and safety issues….” EYFS Statutory Framework (page 20, 3.20) Does recruitment seem a daunting task for your setting? Why is it so important for settings to get this right from the start? This course is ideal for committee chairs and managers wanting to understand the recruitment process or refresh their current knowledge. Effective leadership in early years has been recognised as being significant in raising standards and outcomes for children. This is a stand-alone course which is one of 5 leadership and management courses offered across the year. Together they will provide valuable support to Committee Chairs and managers. In addition, supporting materials are available online to further supplement knowledge and understanding. The tasks offered throughout the course will be practical in nature and are designed to support your practice in the setting.
