This event is open to Children’s Social Care staff + Preventative Services staff only

This will be a virtual event run by representatives from Drive and Next Link to explore our approach in South Gloucestershire to domestic abuse from both a victim and perpetrator perspective. See attached brief information about the Drive project which you may like to familiarise yourself with prior to this master class. There will be opportunities for questions and answers during the session.

The theme of this master class clearly links to the majority of the values which form our practice model for South Gloucestershire but especially:
-See Me, Hear Me, Keep Me Safe
-Enable support at the right time, in the right place, in the right way

Please do not hesitate to contact Katie Middleton if you have any questions in relation to this master class or any other element of the communities of learning/ social work master class approach to learning.

Learning outcomes

1. To understand the set up, aims and function of the Drive South Glos team including referral pathways, links with MARAC and DAPP, victims voice, disrupt support and behaviour change.

2. To hear from Drive case managers about their role, to understand how multi agency working is key to Drive and what professionals can expect from the case managers.
