In this engaging blended day you’ll discover more about enhancing the work of your team through development and empowerment. You’ll consider the importance and value in developing strong team bonds and effective working relationships. Together we will consider how to develop and maintain effective working relationships within teams, assessing strengths and weaknesses within a team. Review how models such as Tuckman and Belbin can influence team behaviour and success.

After this course you will be able to:
• Describe Tuckman’s Forming, Storming, Norming, Performing model.
• Describe Belbin’s Team Roles model and how we can use it to better understand ourselves and others.
• Motivate and leading a team to achieve agreed objectives.
• Understand and use the learning cycle to embed your learning
• Understand a range of learning and development methods to increase skills, knowledge and change attitudes in your team
• Know how to use training needs analysis and skills audits to identify learning needs
• Set development objectives with individuals and teams.
