Event description
This NHS approved online training in mindfulness is something that you can work through in your own time. Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) is a modified form of cognitive therapy that incorporates mindfulness practices such as meditation and breathing exercises. Using these tools, MBCT therapists teach clients how to break away from negative thought patterns and enhance wellbeing. This training has been shown in clinical trials to reduce depression, anxiety and stress as well as having other health benefits such as improved sleep and pain reduction.

For a taster of what mindfulness is, there will be a link to a Mindfulness audio podcast attached to your confirmation email.

Please note this is an online course which you can work through at your own time and pace. Once your place has been confirmed you will receive an email with the details attached of how to register.
