Event description
This series of bite size learning sessions, is aimed at giving you further information on topics that you may or may not be familiar with. 


We have a range of subjects on offer as well as different speakers; including foster carers, social workers, GP’s, Clinical Psychologists, Specialist Mental Health Clinician, Educational Psychologists contributing to most of the sessions.
 
 
It is also very much a session for you to be able to ask questions, in order to better understand a topic, or have queries answered. 
 

Sessions will run from 10:00 to 12:30/13:00 , or 18:30 – 21:00 if this is an evening course.
Learning outcomes

In this session, Katie PItman will give  a presentation  on  what ADHD is,  strategies / changes that foster carers/kinship carers/adopters may need to make, in order to try and better cope/understand why the children they have behave the way they do.
