Event description
This course is for all practitioners who are working with two year olds who would like to become more knowledgeable in supporting toddlers to manage their feelings and behaviour.

Have you wondered why toddlers become so challenging? Have you wondered why they lose their ability to cope?

Practitioners supporting toddlers will gain an insight into their typical social and emotional development. We will look at strategies to support toddlers to self-regulate and understand and manage their own feelings. Practitioners will gain a better understanding of how toddlers’ brains are developing and how appropriate strategies can help a child to communicate their feelings.

To develop an awareness of appropriate strategies to support toddlers to self-regulate.
