Event description
This course, aimed at managers, deputies and committee chairs, will help you to reflect on current practice and provide practical strategies to have a positive impact on your setting.
This course is ideal for practitioners and committee chairs new to leadership and management; deputies seeking to develop skills; and experienced leaders seeking to refresh and develop their skills and understanding.
Does recruitment seem a daunting task for your setting? Why is it so important for settings to get this right from the start? This course will help you with the whole process for recruitment and induction. Effective leadership in early years has been recognised as being significant in raising standards and outcomes for children.
“Providers must ensure that all staff receive induction training to help them understand their roles and responsibilities. Induction training must include: information about emergency evacuation procedures, safeguarding, child protection, the provider’s equality policy, and health and safety issues….”
