Event description
This is for existing and new* practitioners who deliver the NHS Health Check. There will be local updates, an expert speaker, a panel session and workshops for Practice Nurses and Health Care Assistants. This course will be repeated on 29/01/19. Practitioners do not have to attend both.
*New practitioners – to attend this refresher training you will need to have completed the online or work placed core skills training and the online Dementia training (see links below).

Existing practitioners – attending this refresher training will cover all of your NHS Health Check CPD requirement for the year.
Learning outcomes
The aims of this course are: (a) to update practitioners’ knowledge and awareness of current developments in the NHS Health Check programme, both local and national (b) to improve skills, knowledge and confidence in clinical aspects and lifestyle areas of the programme
