Event description
The Virtual School value the time they spend with carers, and to enable this to be an even more successful partnership between school and home, would like to have more sessions available for meeting you during the course of the year. Each session will have a focus, but as ever, if there are topics we haven’t identified that you would find more helpful, please let Catherine Charlton know, by emailing: catherine.charlton@southglos.gov.uk

Due to the responses to these sessions last year, there will be two more running this year.

Thursday 12th September
Monday 27th January

Learning outcomes
This session will focus on: Transitions -  whether they are from primary to secondary school, or post 16.  The session will look at what you and the school can do to help support your young person make this as smooth a process as possible.

Even if you are concerned about the transition between year groups, please do come along to this session, where tips and advice will be on offer.

There will also be the opportunity for you to raise any other issues you have about  the education of your young person.

Once again, if you have a specific request please let Catherine Charlton know.
