Event description
This Chartered Management Institute (CMI) recognised management development programme is for managers and aspiring managers from South Gloucestershire Council, neighbouring Local Authorities, and other organisations operating in the area. It provides an opportunity to reflect on your experience and working practices and is equally suitable for new managers making the transition from staff member to manager, existing managers who wish to build on their experience and aspiring managers who are preparing to make their first step into a management role. It sets out the foundations of knowledge and skills needed for development within a management role, and enables managers to identify further training and development needs. The programme consists of 6.5 days over a seven month period with 10 hours of self-directed learning. It will be delivered through a blended solution including face to face training, psychometric assessment, 360 review, action learning sets, individual coaching, individual reflection, skills practice and e-learning. You will receive CMI membership and a CMI certificate of completion of a recognised programme. The facilitators are Emma Ford (01454 864447), Deb Parsons (01454 868273) and Gary Willis (01454 863094). If you have any questions about whether this is the right programme for you please contact Emma, Deb or Gary. Please note there is a charge to attend this course for external delegates of £600.
