Event description
This interesting and informative day will include speakers: • Mark Pietroni (Director of Public Health) on the work of the Partnership Against Domestic Abuse; • Dr Finn Mackay (University of the West of England) on gender violence; and • Michael Conroy (A Call to Men UK) on opening dialogues with boys and young men about masculinity and gender differences. Interactive workshops will include: • The impact of domestic abuse on the early years; • How social media can be used in teenage relationships to coerce and control; • Mental and emotional health issues within domestic abuse; and • Promoting respectful relationships among children and young people. There is a charge of £70 to attend this conference.
